How I got here

For the past decade I’ve been writing for companies like SeedProd and RafflePress, helping them reach beginners, small business owners, and people who just want WordPress to work without a fuss.

I didn’t get here through a degree or a formal training programme. I taught myself everything:

  • SEO
  • Content strategy
  • How to write for people who are short on time and patience

It turns out that’s actually a pretty good foundation. You learn what works because you test it, not because someone told you it should.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of three teenagers, twins included. Life is hormonal and occasionally chaotic, which means I’ve learned to think clearly and work well in the gaps.

I crochet, cross stitch, journal, and take slow walks where I notice things.

What I write, and who I write it for.

Long-form SEO content, content strategy, and WordPress product writing. Mostly for Awesome Motive brands including SeedProd and RafflePress.

“I have worked with dozens and dozens of writers over the years and I can say without any hesitation that Stacey is one of the very best.”

SEO content

Long-form articles that earn their place in search

I research, write, and structure content around real search intent. The goal is always to answer the question properly, not just tick the right boxes. It turns out that’s also what tends to rank.

Strategy

Content strategy that gives your publishing a clear direction

Audits, topic clusters, editorial planning, tone of voice. If you’re producing content without knowing why, I can help you build a framework that does.

WordPress & SaaS

Product and plugin content for audiences who aren’t developers

I’ve spent years writing about WordPress and the tools built around it. I know this audience well. They want clear steps, plain English, and to feel like the person writing actually used the thing.

Video

Short videos and step-by-step tutorials that show the product actually working

For WPVibe I write, film and edit both: quick vertical shorts for social, and longer tutorials that walk through a task from start to finish. It is the same job as the writing: show someone the thing working, in plain English.
